Mondo Gecko
I find myself in Boston, MA today. After a wonderful weekend on the cape, i took the train from Providence RI to Boston. I spent the last night at Brandeis where I stayed with some friends who are finishing up College. This morning to took at bus into Bean Town. Eric McEwen apartment was my next stop. Currently I am listening in on his band rehearsal. Mondo Gecko is Boston’s number 3 jam band.
I am heading back up to New York City in the early morning via Bolt Bus. This bus has wireless internet, so who knows I may post tomorrow morning.
Cape Cod
I took the bus from New York City down to Jackson, NJ. Then got into the car and drove up to Truro, MA.

Otto
Last night I had dinner at Mario Batali’s restaurant, Otto. This pizzaria / pasta house was packed, but I still thouroughly enjoyed the evenings artichoke pasta special.
Mario also has a great documentary on the cuisine of Spain that premiered a few days ago. You can probably check it out on your local public access channel or visit them on the web.
Street Music
Well I made it to NYC safe and sound. I have been staying with James in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
Today I have been walking around the city, jumping from wireless point to wireless point. Currently I am writing from the Apple cube on the edge of central park.
The city is great, the weather is perfect, and I am constantly amazed at the things that you can easily run into while wandering around.
On my way to the Apple store I stumbled on a TV on the Radio rehearsal for the David Letterman show.
David Blaine is also in town. He is hanging upside down in Central Park for the next 60 hours.
